It is Sunday!!!

Well.... I have been reading everyone else'e update :] even if I have not commented... It has been pretty crazy. I have been super sick :( Lame I know right.... 
Our Thanksgiving was good. We went to our friend Lyssa's house and hung out with her & her kids. It was a lot of fun. Top it off we had a white Thanksgiving!! I will show some pictures later on. 
My hubby left this morning at 0600.. but even tho I miss him like crazy and its only been 5 1/2 hours.. it is a short training (6 days) that is nothing.. He has a long training coming up about the time of my due date and then we have the 12-18month deployment coming up as well so 6 days is like nothing... 
Plus I am staying busy.. :] Today I am at Lyssa's. Hanging out... making sugar cookies, gonna watch Sex & The City 2 :].. sloppy joes for dinner.. 
I also have my hubby's deployment blanket to work on and finish. I have cleaning n organizing to do so I can do my Christmas decorating. Gonna go buy the tree so when my love does come home we can decorate it :) My check up on the baby is Wednesday. And I have to go either Wednesday or Thursday and get My baby's Christmas present... (I can't say what it is on here bc he is a follower..l0l) as well as I will have to wrap it so he can't snoop l0l.. :) So see tons to stay busy on to make this week go by fast!!

1. Black Friday is ...too much for me this year being 30min pregnant! But I do miss going with my mommy.

2. Christmas shopping this year will include ...being creative  I'm working on doing some home-made gifts, as well as some store bought because Thomas has a few things he wants :]

4. This year my Christmas list will include ...Time with My hubby <3, time with family/friends, Snow.

5. Bargain hunter, or full price shopper? ...bargain for sure! I hate paying full price for anything aside from groceries. Other than that, I try to catch things on sale.

6. The best and worst things about shopping is ...best-making people happy... worst-spending all my money.

I am grateful for: My Amazing Husband & Our son that we are currently expecting. I am grateful for all my friends as well as my family :). I am grateful for us having a steady income with the Army. I am grateful for My Savior, Jesus! I am grateful for the person I am now and I am becoming. 

2. What is you favorite dish at Thanksgiving dinner?

My families yam casserole (it is not the one with marshmallows either, as well as, Chicken & Dumplings. 

3. Do you have any family traditions for Thanksgiving?

Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

4. Are you staying home or traveling for Thanksgiving?

We are staying home. We wish we could travel to see family.. but with me being 30 weeks pregnant I can not go that far. But it is okay we have plans with friends that are family to us. :)

5. What else do you do on Thanksgiving day besides eat?

Watch the Macy's parade, play games...

1.  How many pillows do you sleep with?
Well I am about 30 weeks pregnant.. so right now A LOT haha. Let's see: My belly bump pillow, regular body pillow, pregnancy body pillow, My head pillow. So that is 4 that sounds about right.. sometimes more sometimes less.. 

2.  Where will you eat on Thanksgiving?
Um where ever we sit down at haha :) We do not have "blood family" here so it is just us or maybe with a friend that is like family... which we have had people ask us to join them.. so we will see 


3.  Would you rather go to a party or host a party?
I absolutely LOVE hosting parties and get togethers. However, with the housing we are at now on post it is very "blocky" and not a good place to have parties. So for now I settle for going to others parties or get togethers. 

4.  How many purses (for the guys..wallets) do you own?
Oh haha this is a number I really could not tell you.. I have TONS of them.. I love purses :) 

5.  What is your favorite kind of seafood?
Crab!!!

Wow that is hard.. we both have bad tempers...

Well we have one baby boy, our first baby, on the way, due Feb 3rd :)
But right now we want 3 or 4.

Me.. Love my hubby to death and back but he can not really cook. But he is learning :)

I am... he is a hermit l0l no seriously he is..

Definitely me! I have mild OCD and with me nesting it is getting worse.

Well, we're both pretty stubborn, but I'll be the first to tell you that I am more stubborn than he is.

Ha! Him.. It's in his job description. 

19. Where was your first date?
offically... was dinner at TGI Fridays :) 

20. Who has the bigger family?
He does and I love it I was a big family 
but I want a close family as well..

21. Do you get flowers often?
Not really.. but I like it that way.. he spoils me in other way and they mean more when I get them bc I do not get them all the time. 

22.How do you spend the holidays?
It depends on military...last year was with his family but this year was planning on my family but now with baby I cant travel so we are here with ourselves  

23. Who is more jealous?
we are both very jealous ppl but  i think me

24. How long did it take to get serious?
It was almost immediate.. We talked on the phone for 3 months. I moved here to meet in person Jan 16th, 2009 (we did not want long distance) and the next  day, Jan 17th, 2009 we were offically a couple.  A month later February 14th 2009 we got engaged officially, and we married on April 6th 2009. If you keep track that was 3 month of officially being together but knew each other 6months.

25. Who eats more?
Definitely him.. He loves to eat! 

26. What do you do for a living?
Well, let's see.. I'm a Mommy to be, and stay at home wife.
He is a EOD tech in the army. aka a bomb tech
27. Who does the laundry?
Me..

He is :)
29. Who drives when you’re together?
My car so me. his bronco him.. but lately with pregnancy and i am in 3rd trimester we take my car so I drive more.

HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!!

Happy Veterans Day to All the Soldiers & their families that have served & are currently serving! 

I greatly appreciate all that you do from training, to deployments, separation from loved ones, etc.

I know from being a Army Wife, that it is not easy on the soldier serving or the family that loved and supports him so dearly. Thank you so much for choosing to risk so much for your country & all the people in it!

You are a true Hero & I hope you have a wonderful Day!

Updates on crocheting with pics :), baby!, & Life...

Well I have not updated in like.. a week.. My bad.. things got really hectic.

Does any of you girls have any tips on nails.. I am growing my mine out finally.. but they are so soft and bendy.. any ideas so that they get harder and I can actually grow them out? Let me know please :) 

My MIL (Mom in law) came to visit for the last week. It was a lot of fun! :) We wish she could of stayed longer.

She left earlier tonight. She came in to visit since we have not seen her in a while & with the pregnancy we are not going to visit anyone for the holidays, not allowed to travel 8 weeks out or so. She was also here for my Baby Shower in Washington!

I had one baby shower with my side of the family and my long time friends from home last month. My parents flew me home for it and everything.. which was nice b.c I had not seem my family or friends or home for over a year. But My awesome new friends here in Washington threw me a awesome baby shower. I could not believe that they would do that. I am always so surprised to have friends that do things, that they do not have to, for me.

I have also been crazy busy on Thomas' deployment blanket. I have 35 hours put into making it now and I have so much more to do. Which the pictures show l0l. I have to finish making a few more of the solid black squares. Then I will crochet them all together, then I have to do alternating single and double crochet for 3 or 4 inches all the way around the edge. I think it will be like 70 hours at least put into it.. but it is all worth it for my amazing hubby <3

I have school stuff to work on as well, plus I want to make stuff for our son. Then Thank you cards for my showers, Christmas cards, christmas gifts to buy and make, stuff for the unit my hubby is at, and my list goes on and on l0l.

Oh I also am 28weeks <3 I went to my dr and I have to meet with a nutritionist.. iffy thoughts on that.

I was on bed rest this month and I am off it now. But due to bed rest I gained 10 pounds this month.. where as I am only to gain 1-2 pounds a week so 4-8pounds a month. So we are back to helping me with eating better.. even tho Ieat fruits and veggies like crazy :( but I am not working out as much, since when I do I get the BH contractions. NOT GOOD AT ALL! Below are pics, so you can see the difference in my baby belly from beginning to now..

Well, that is all for now. I am gonna jump back to finish the solid black squares tonight. So tomorrow after I clean and make appts and what not I am figured out the exact checker board pattern I will do and I can connect them all together and start on the edging.

We Have A New Addison To Our Family!!

So I have not posted in a few days, mostly been reading everyone else's blogs. Which are awesome by the way :). Halloween weekend was great. Saturday we went bowling with some friends of ours. Sunday, we worked on the baby's room, which was kinda stressful but fun! Then My hubby & I handed out candy together, while watching the original Addams Family on Tv and snuggled on the couch with hot coco. Got surprise visits by 2 friends. That was awesome :) 

My mom in law gets here Thursday night and Sunday is my baby show. So we have been busy cleaning and getting ready for everything.

But most of all.... WE GOT A NEW ADDITION TO OUR LIL FAMILY!!!! 

My hubby got me a kitten. She is 4 weeks old, barely. Her mom abandoned her, how sad right? Well she is so adorable. A orange tabby too, with bright blue eyes. Her name is Cheeze It. What ya think bout it? She looks like a lil furr ball, we cannot wait til she is bigger. Turke (our dog) is so jealous. Which we can see how he will react when we have our son in 3 months. :( But he wants to play with the kitten but she is too small so he is not sure what to do. She loves to go under his legs and paw at him..silly kitten.

Thomas ( My husband) will not admit that he likes or loves this kitten. He is NOT a cat person at all. But he is playing with her and everything. The kitten is in love with Him as well. She wakes up if she hears him. She whines til he picks her up or plays with her. She follows him around & runs up to him when she sees him. She is attached to me too tho. She has to lay by me for sleep or rest time. She loves being on my chest or shoulders. It so adorable.
