Monday Catch Up

Good Evening Everyone!!

I hope you all had a great weekend, Monday, & last week :) 

Sorry I have been MIA for so long... My life has been hectic sorta.. but I like to be busy. I am nesting horribly for our son so I am trying to get his room together, AGAIN, and declutter and reorganize my house. Yes I said do his room again.. I had it all organized and ready for him (minus decorating that I want to do), but we got about 20 moving boxes of stuff from my parents house in Florida from Baby stuff to stuff that we got at our wedding and stuff that was mine growing up. Which I went through this last weekend... made a keep and trash pile. So now to figure out what to do with the keep pile. l0l. 

I also got our tree put up, decorated, got gifts wrapped under the tree for my hubby :) He already got to open 3 small gifts. Which were playing cards (uno & phase 10) and a hand carved pine cone figurine.

I also got pictures for Sunday, so we have out awesome Christmas card picture all ready. But I am hand making our cards. So it is time consumes. I am stamping, painting,cutting, glueing, & glittering them. I hope everyone likes them. I will post a picture in the next few days of what they look like so let come back and let me know what you think please. :)

My husband also got home last week from training, another reason I have been MIA. Just enjoying being together again. You know your a military spouse, gf, fiancée when your life is constant counting days. We have 58 days til our baby boy is here, well til I am full term. We are supposed to be induced so hopefully less.

And we have 125 days til my heart breaks, aka Thomas' deployment. That is not long at all. So I am trying to get ready for the baby. As well as, get ready and prepared for deployment coming. We have so much we want and so much we NEED to do so we are busy busy these days.

Okay I am gonna get off here and jump back on the card making.. I will post pictures soon. I also have a update on my hubby's deployment blanket. Can't wait to see what you guys think.

It is Sunday!!!

Well.... I have been reading everyone else'e update :] even if I have not commented... It has been pretty crazy. I have been super sick :( Lame I know right.... 
Our Thanksgiving was good. We went to our friend Lyssa's house and hung out with her & her kids. It was a lot of fun. Top it off we had a white Thanksgiving!! I will show some pictures later on. 
My hubby left this morning at 0600.. but even tho I miss him like crazy and its only been 5 1/2 hours.. it is a short training (6 days) that is nothing.. He has a long training coming up about the time of my due date and then we have the 12-18month deployment coming up as well so 6 days is like nothing... 
Plus I am staying busy.. :] Today I am at Lyssa's. Hanging out... making sugar cookies, gonna watch Sex & The City 2 :].. sloppy joes for dinner.. 
I also have my hubby's deployment blanket to work on and finish. I have cleaning n organizing to do so I can do my Christmas decorating. Gonna go buy the tree so when my love does come home we can decorate it :) My check up on the baby is Wednesday. And I have to go either Wednesday or Thursday and get My baby's Christmas present... (I can't say what it is on here bc he is a follower..l0l) as well as I will have to wrap it so he can't snoop l0l.. :) So see tons to stay busy on to make this week go by fast!!

1. Black Friday is ...too much for me this year being 30min pregnant! But I do miss going with my mommy.

2. Christmas shopping this year will include ...being creative  I'm working on doing some home-made gifts, as well as some store bought because Thomas has a few things he wants :]

3. Holiday shopping makes me ...broke! lol

4. This year my Christmas list will include ...Time with My hubby <3, time with family/friends, Snow.

5. Bargain hunter, or full price shopper? ...bargain for sure! I hate paying full price for anything aside from groceries. Other than that, I try to catch things on sale.

6. The best and worst things about shopping is ...best-making people happy... worst-spending all my money.

7. Online shopper or in-person shopper? ...I love Amazon.com... or any site that I can get things for cheap :]

1. Name 5 things you are grateful for!

I am grateful for: My Amazing Husband & Our son that we are currently expecting. I am grateful for all my friends as well as my family :). I am grateful for us having a steady income with the Army. I am grateful for My Savior, Jesus! I am grateful for the person I am now and I am becoming. 

2. What is you favorite dish at Thanksgiving dinner?

My families yam casserole (it is not the one with marshmallows either, as well as, Chicken & Dumplings. 

3. Do you have any family traditions for Thanksgiving?

Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

4. Are you staying home or traveling for Thanksgiving?

We are staying home. We wish we could travel to see family.. but with me being 30 weeks pregnant I can not go that far. But it is okay we have plans with friends that are family to us. :)

5. What else do you do on Thanksgiving day besides eat?

Watch the Macy's parade, play games...

I thought this would be fun. Even tho it is 11:13pm haha but it is still Monday :) 


Questions: 

1.  How many pillows do you sleep with?
Well I am about 30 weeks pregnant.. so right now A LOT haha. Let's see: My belly bump pillow, regular body pillow, pregnancy body pillow, My head pillow. So that is 4 that sounds about right.. sometimes more sometimes less.. 

2.  Where will you eat on Thanksgiving?
Um where ever we sit down at haha :) We do not have "blood family" here so it is just us or maybe with a friend that is like family... which we have had people ask us to join them.. so we will see 


3.  Would you rather go to a party or host a party?
I absolutely LOVE hosting parties and get togethers. However, with the housing we are at now on post it is very "blocky" and not a good place to have parties. So for now I settle for going to others parties or get togethers. 

4.  How many purses (for the guys..wallets) do you own?
Oh haha this is a number I really could not tell you.. I have TONS of them.. I love purses :) 

5.  What is your favorite kind of seafood?
Crab!!!
